Transient Voltage Suppression Diode (TVS) is an electronic component used to protect electronic devices from transient voltage surges. It is designed to suppress transient overvoltage, such as voltage spikes, surges, electromagnetic interference, etc., to protect sensitive circuits and devices from damage. TVS diodes have the following main characteristics:

1. High response speed: TVS diodes can respond to transient overvoltage in nanosecond time, quickly guiding the overvoltage to ground or other safe levels, thereby protecting the protected equipment.
